The Albatros D.III was a biplane fighter aircraft. It was a single-seater aircraft used by the Central Powers in WWI. This aircraft was flown by many notable aces, the infamous Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen being one of them. It was produced between the years of 1916-1918, and almost 2000 were manufactured. This aircraft allowed Germany to gain a significant advantage even after the Fokker Scourge had passed.
