One of the most famous biplanes of the Allied Powers in the Great War, this French aircraft sported two Vickers machine-guns that fired through the propeller disc with the aid of the Alkan-Hamy synchronization gear. This plane was used by many well-known aces. A.D. Bell–Irving and Billy Bishop were few such examples.
